L.S. Brinker Company is ISO 9001:2000 certified, which is an international organization that establishes standards {International Organization for Standardization} and is the recognized standard that sets minimum requirements for an organization's quality of operations. An outside auditor is used to verify and certify that the minimum requirements are maintained twice a year. As a result of the ISO 9001:2000 process, the L.S. Brinker staff has written procedures to guide them. The goals are: a clearer understanding of responsibilities, greater consistency, and thus improved quality. Overall, our staff will collectively utilize the ISO standards and procedures to ensure the successful completion of every project. L.S. Brinker's team will develop and implement a detailed Quality Control Plan, which is specific for each project. It will be extremely important to pre-plan our construction activities in a systematic and orderly fashion. In this effort, we propose to perform a detailed logistics plan, which includes material handling methods, traffic control, etc., and a construction-sequencing plan. Sequencing of all activities will be pre-planned, reviewed and approved by the Owner prior to their implementation. L.S. Brinker was Q1 certified in 2000, and has authorization to implement QOS. The Q1 certification recognizes quality services and standardizes the deliver of consistent quality. The Q1 and QOS certifications provide the necessary structure and tools to implement an effective Quality Operating System.
