February 15, 2006

The Detroit Free Press announced the anticipated major riverfront improvements to take place this summer; Headed by Spingarn LLC, Kraemer Design Group and L.S. Brinker.

Developers:  Spingarn LLC, a partnership headed by Dave Bing, a Detroit industrialist, auto parts supplier and former Pistons star who is in the Basketball Hall of Fame.  Kraemer Design Group is the designated Architect and L.S. Brinker, a minority Detroit Headquartered Business, has been chosen as Construction Manager for this project.

Following waterfront improvements like the city's RiverWalk now under construction, the projects promise to turn Detroit's riverfront from a semi-industrial wasteland into a lively neighborhood where residents can live, dine, shop and enjoy splendid views of the river.

Construction will begin on the Bing project as early as this summer with occupancy in about two years.
